Meet Erin Lucas: MDLF’s New Development Director

Hey, MDLF Network!

My passion to serve the community drew me to become involved in the Indiana Republican Party, the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series, Leadership Hendricks County, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana, the Junior League of Indianapolis, and serve as a youth group leader at church. Aspiring higher to make my community and state a better place to live, work, and play, I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the Development Director of the Mitch Daniels Leadership Foundation.

Serving in this role will allow me to create meaningful connections across the state to ensure this wonderful organization sees sustainable growth and transformative impact just as our namesake did for the State of Indiana and Purdue University.

A proud Hoosier and graduate of Saint Mary-of-the Woods College & Indiana State University, I'm now a proud resident of Hendricks County where we call Avon home. Prior to MDLF, I worked in Community Relations for Hendricks Regional Health, in Development and Advocacy for the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County and for U.S. Congressman Larry Bucshon, M.D. for nearly a decade organizing special events, directing fundraising and coordinating community relations.

I love spending time with my family, attending political events, and trying new restaurants, coffee shops and breweries. Let’s grab coffee and connect!

Erin
