Mitch Daniels Leadership Foundation Announces Class VIII Fellows

INDIANA – The Mitch Daniels Leadership Foundation (MDLF) proudly welcomes 25 dynamic Hoosiers to its Class VIII Fellowship, marking another milestone in the organization’s mission to “Enable leaders. Drive Change.”

Since its inception in 2016, the MDLF Fellowship has worked with over 140 professionals from 27 counties who are committed to making Indiana a premier destination for innovation, economic opportunity, and civic leadership. The two-year program blends rigorous coursework with hands-on experiences, offering monthly convenings and in-depth exploration of key topics such as economic growth, education, healthcare, and civil society. Fellows engage directly with thought leaders through lectures, exclusive case studies, and Socratic-style discussions, in partnership with Liberty Fund, gaining the tools to address challenges in their own communities. One of many unique differentiators of the program is the Capstone project, where each Fellow applies critical thinking and strategic problem-solving to drive impact locally.

MDLF Fellows are selected through a competitive process with a focus on identifying individuals who embody leadership, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a deep commitment to the Foundation’s core principles: individual liberty, personal responsibility, and the importance of private enterprise.

“Each Fellow brings a unique purpose and perspective to this program, united by a commitment to the principles of individual liberty, personal responsibility and the important role of private enterprise," said MDLF Fellowship Committee Chair Maureen Weber. "Equipped with the lessons they’ll learn and the relationships they’ll forge through the fellowship, we expect that each of our Fellows will actively contribute to a stronger, more innovative Indiana.”
